Is the DPF in your Hilux clogged, and there's no chance of regenerating it? Well, you're probably looking at a brand-new DPF Hilux exhaust. Contrary to what many people think, you don't have to replace your entire exhaust system when replacing the DPF. Exhaust systems...

Strip down any big-brand luxury vehicle, and you'll find among other things piles of sound-deadening products under that plush carpet. There's a reason why cars verging on bigger sizes and at the higher end of the pricing scale are whisper quiet inside. They have more than a few layers to drone out sounds and vibrations emanating from different areas. Tyre, road and wind noise all need to be silenced. As well as the excessive engine, transmission, and exhaust bangs, pops, and rumbles. These can get to irritating levels in older and cheaper cars that are missing out.

With the second-gen car just around the corner, the outgoing VW Amarok has sold close to 88000 units and still holding strong. Maybe not astronomic figures when utes are concerned, but the car is one of the brand's best-selling models, rivalling the Tiguan.  It's been on...

Have you ever had the feeling when you’re driving with a heavy load or pulling a trailer, that your vehicle’s suspension wanted to completely bottom out? If so, it could be that your factory suspension simply isn’t built for the job.

Suspension components like shocks and springs all weaken over time, and they can certainly leave you with much more than just poor ride quality. Sometimes, however, those components just aren't designed for the task at hand, and adding more weight to them only makes your ride quality progressively worse. Quite often, by the time your vehicle's suspension has reached the point of becoming unbearable, its safety has already been dangerously compromised.

The heart and soul of the RC community are impacted by the manufacturers and inventors at FlySky through unmatched creativity and experience. From the early FM-PPM protocol through the first and second generations of digital frequency hopping systems and two-way communication, FlySky has always led the RC industry in new and interesting directions.

One of the main issues 4WD owners have with their vehicles is that straight out the of the dealership there’s one important omission – a decent light setup. Even for cars designed to be used primarily off-road, the only lights provided are standard headlights, and if you spec up, fog lights.

It’s almost impossible to name a space that’s simultaneously more inviting and more personal than the interiors of our automobiles. Far from being a place that’s synonymous only with stress, there’s something soothing to be found in this warm confinement. It’s a place where we go to form thoughts as well as retreat to collect them.

If you’re serious about performance and a faster and more responsive car, you need to dig deep into the engine block. Higher horsepower numbers, better torque and low-down pulling power often involves swapping out the stock “bottom-end” parts – the pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft. This is where a few careful modifications can produce some interesting results when taking your car out for a spin on the track.

Who doesn’t want more power and low-down torque from their engine? Modifications to stock engines have existed as long as the internal combustion engine itself, and are often carried out by racing enthusiasts with a little more knack in getting the power increase they need. With engines today going down the downsizing path, there’s the tendency to see the lower displacement helped out by one or two turbines to force more air in the cylinders. Peak power is produced relatively high in the rev range, so you’ll be having your right foot down longer until you get some push. The alternate path to all this is to increase engine displacement. This is where stroker engines and stroker kits come into play.
